About OUR show
Long before streaming queues and autoplay, there was a time when horror lived in the glow of late-night television — when strange films flickered onto the screen, hosted by mysterious figures who invited you into their world for one unforgettable night.
The Something Eerie Picture Show is a love letter to that era.
Created by filmmaker and horror devotee Kevin Woods, the show celebrates the weird, the wonderful, and the wonderfully weird corners of classic horror cinema. Each episode resurrects public domain horror and sci-fi films, cult curiosities, and forgotten fright flicks — presented with humor, atmosphere, and just a touch of menace.
Guiding viewers through the darkness is our host, Wolfgang Von Bloodmoon — a sharp-tongued creature of the night who has seen too many bad movies… and loved most of them anyway. Equal parts horror historian and chaotic creature, Wolfgang doesn’t just introduce the films — he interacts with them, interrupting, commenting, and occasionally threatening the audience’s sanity.
But this show isn’t just about watching old movies.
It’s about:
The joy of late-night horror hosting
The magic of practical effects and DIY creativity
The nostalgia of staying up too late with the TV glowing
And the shared love of monsters, madness, and movie magic
Every episode is crafted with care — blending original sketches, character-driven storytelling, and reverence for the genre that raised us. From eerie atmospheres to playful scares, The Something Eerie Picture Show exists somewhere between a horror marathon and a campfire story told a little too well.
Whether you’re a lifelong horror fan or just wandering in from the dark, you’re welcome here.
Just… don’t wander too far from the screen.

Wolfgang
Von Bloodmoon
Wolfgang Von Bloodmoon is a true lycanthrope, being born of an ancient bloodline of werewolves, meaning he was thusly born a werewolf, rather than being bitten or infected. Not a great deal is known about Wolfgang’s family, as any records they kept were well guarded, except that his father was a boyar (nobleman) in what was then the nation of Wallachia which in later years would unite with Moldavia to form what is now known as Romania.
Wolfgang was born in the year 1821, making him currently 204 years old. Werewolves and Vampires live considerably longer than humans, and unlike humans become more powerful as they grow older. Over time a werewolf, especially a natural born werewolf such as Wolfgang not only grow to be more powerful as they age, but also will lose weaknesses that they were susceptible to when they were younger.
For example, after a werewolf has reached 100 years of age, they are no longer affected by Wolf’s Bane. After 150 years, a werewolf is no longer limited to transforming during the full moon, but can become a werewolf at any time, day or night regardless of the moon’s current cycle. After 200 year’s a werewolf is far less susceptible to silver, and their wounds heal at an accelerated rate, making them nearly impossible to kill.

Being 204, Wolfgang has surpassed all of those milestones and things like Wolf’s Bane and being shot with a silver bullet will only make him mad at this point.
While little is known of Wolfgang’s family, it is known that they had strong ties to the ruling Prince of Wallachia prior to the unification of Romania and Wolfgang’s father once ruled over what was then Moravian Wallachia, a mountainous region in the easternmost portion of Moravia, nestled in the Western Carpathians. While descending from Noble birth, it is unknown whether Wolfgang’s parents still live, or their current whereabouts if they do survive. It is also unknown whether Wolfgang still has ties or any living relatives in Romania, or the status of his claim to any noble title in the land of his birth.
What is known is that Wolfgang came to America sometime in the early 1900’s. In the 1930’s he starred in a number of B-Movie horror films, with the general public unaware that the onscreen werewolf was in fact a real werewolf offscreen as well. Notable film appearances from that era include, “Juvenile Delinquent Werewolves”, “Curse of the Werewolf’s Paw”, “The Lycanthrope Labyrinth”, “Wolfgang’s Castle”, “Return of Wolfgang”, and Wolfgang Vs. Gradystein.
After the collapse of Cosmos Films, Wolfgang dropped off the grid for several decades, and little is known of his whereabouts or activities during this period.
He resurfaced sometime around 2020, and through some sort of arrangement with director Kevin Woods launched his own television series where he plays a horror host of a series entitled “The Something Eerie Picture Show”. There are rumors that Wolfgang may have coerced Kevin into launching this horror hosted series with threats of violence, possibly including being eaten, though these reports are unsubstantiated.
Wolfgang currently resides in an abandoned movie theater that is reputedly haunted, it’s exact location is unknown and the general public is still unaware that Wolfgang is an actual real werewolf.

grim
Death is eternal.
Paperwork is endless.
And honestly? It’s all gotten a little boring.
Meet Grim — the Grim Reaper… or at least a Grim Reaper. After centuries of escorting souls to the great beyond, Grim has grown tired of the same old routine. Cloak? Check. Scythe? Check. Eternal darkness? Been there, done that.
Now he’s trying something new.
Grim has decided to explore other career paths — acting, rapping, hosting, motivational speaking, influencer culture, you name it. Unfortunately, he’s not very good at any of them. But he’s enthusiastic. And that counts for something.
Equal parts cosmic entity and clueless goofball, Grim approaches every new venture with the confidence of someone who has literally nothing to lose. He’s awkward, overly sincere, and often unaware that most humans find him… unsettling. He means well — even when he accidentally terrifies everyone in the room.
Despite his grim profession, he’s oddly upbeat, easily distracted, and deeply confused by modern life. Social media baffles him. Slang terrifies him. And don’t even ask him to work a microphone.
Still, when the cameras roll, Grim gives it his all — whether he’s trying to deliver dramatic monologues, spit questionable rhymes, or audition for roles he absolutely should not be allowed to have.
He may be Death itself…
But he’s also just trying to find his passion. Because, as Grim says, "Eternity is a long time...might as well try everything once!"

kevin woods
Filmmaker. Horror obsessive. Reluctant survivor.
Kevin Woods is a filmmaker, writer, and lifelong devotee of horror cinema — and the unfortunate human at the center of The Something Eerie Picture Show. Known for his work in independent film and genre storytelling, Kevin has spent years immersed in the world of cult cinema, late-night movies, and creatures that refuse to stay buried.
At least… that’s how it started.
In this universe, Kevin didn’t set out to create a horror show — he stumbled into it. After a fateful encounter with the mysterious and dangerously unpredictable Wolfgang Von Bloodmoon, Kevin narrowly avoided becoming just another name on the long list of “unfortunate souls.” Instead, he struck a deal.
His life… in exchange for his skills.
Now bound by a strange and uneasy agreement, Kevin serves as the reluctant producer, organizer, and creative mind behind The Something Eerie Picture Show. His job? Keep Wolfgang entertained, keep the show running, and make sure the cameras never stop rolling — because if the show ends… well, so might he.
On screen, Kevin is part filmmaker, part unwilling accomplice, part eternal straight man to Wolfgang’s chaos. He’s the one trying to keep things professional while everything around him slowly descends into madness. He knows the rules of storytelling, understands how horror works, and desperately tries to keep the show on track — even as it spirals into something stranger with every episode.
Off-screen, Kevin is a real-world filmmaker with experience in independent film, genre storytelling, and creative production. His work and credits can be found on IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1470743/
The Something Eerie Picture Show is both a tribute to the horror hosts of the past and a playful reinvention of the format — blending nostalgia, original characters, and a touch of meta storytelling. And stuck in the middle of it all is Kevin: a man who just wanted to make movies… and accidentally became part of one.
